The year that was ...

2009

Every year is memorable for us... But for this year it is different.. 2009 was the year that made me learn and realize on to something different. This was the year where i fell down and stood up in a process and found new things where I can simply share be accepted as what I am. This was the year when I realized that everything is in constant change, That we need to accept things despite of any decisions that we made.

The year started with a shaky relationship, with someone that I thought would be the one. It started my year with nothing but a gloomy weather. He left me for unnecessary reason, for something that he can't accept of being me. I was shattered and was down. But then again new opportunity came. I was promoted at work and being recognized by people on what they see me as a potential.

I worked hard... And yet the fruit is still ripe that right now... Im still working hard in order for me to grow and explore onto something new.

I was hooked up with my job. I have closed my doors to any possibilities that would come when it comes to relationship.

I spent time with my bestfriend and close friends as an outlet of being lonely and alone despite of the successes that I've achieved.

I dated a couple of people but it didn't work out.

Until I met someone that made my world smile. Someone that made me laugh and smile despite of sadness of being alone. Someone that accepts me of what I am. Someone that is open and vocal on things that we want to agree on to. Someone that I truly love.

RIght now I'm happy and yet contented on what I have. Now,  I realized why people smile despite of everything that is against you. I learned how to take risk and face fear no matter what. I learned to love and be loved in return. And most of all I learned to prioritize things and recognize people as such.

Thank you for being a part of my year. And looking on to a New Year to spend and a new year to work on to things that I started this year.

Seasons Greetings!!

It was a boring day for me. We don't have any workload to do for the whole shift. I was busy reading some stuff when suddenly my teammate was able to find a website where you can check whats it means.

source: What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?

Well here's what I've got from my name:

You Are Bold and Fearless

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You are deeply philosophical and thoughtful. You tend to analyze every aspect of your life. You are intuitive, brilliant, and quite introverted. You value your time alone.Often times, you are grumpy with other people. You don't appreciate them trying to interfere in your affairs.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together. At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

For 10 months in the company that i am currently working. Today is the first time that we had Team Lunch together with my Supervisor, Teammates and our Wavemate QE. It was really fun. We had our Team Lunch after shift @ Chika-an sa Cebu Restaurant located at SM Northwing

A lot of issues has been happenning internally on the team but still we manage to give it a very exciting and happy group as we ate... talk... ate... talk and ate...

We had our exchange gift and have a sort of bonding moments together with the team that we rarely do it for the past 10 months... luckily I got 2 ArtWork Shirts ( as what is stated in my wishlist )...

After lunch we had a small talk and strolling around the mall and ending up riding bumper inside Bibo. Honestly it is my first time to ride and drive a bumper... After the experience i find myself laughing... smiling... perspiring and saying... "That was a Stress Reliever!!!"... Yeah it is indeed a stress reliever...  For a moment I forgot those things that bugs in my head and it was replaced with enjoyment, fun, and have more time to laugh, talk and exchange jokes with my colleague/friends...

After the bonding moment with the team... I realized that eventhough we had conflicts with our colleague at work... we still find them a friend... who helps u to be stronger because of the gap that both of u make...

Looking forward for more bonding moment with the team..

Weeeeeeeeeeeee~~~~!!!

I find these facts interesting.. This has been a repost from socyberty.com
Hope this facts can help you and lead you to a better and happy relationship.

Woooott!! ~~~

  1. Love each other. The simplest but the most effective way of maintaining a good relationship is just to love each other. What is it in a relationship if there is no love, is it just lust from the very beginning?
  2. Don't Lie. In any relationship, there should always be trust between the couple or else all will end up in chaos. We should always remember that there is no secret that can't be revealed, sooner or later you'll just find out that you are just cheating and putting yourself into shame.
  3. Keep Good Communication. Personally I can say that good communication between couples should highly be done because it is the only way they can keep in touch; it is the only way(especially for distant relationships) to keep track of the feelings and emotions of the partners.
  4. Stay Sweet. Although you may have faced some serious problems in your relationship, you should at least never lose your sweetness. Many problems occur when one of the couple cannot just be humble enough to accept that he or she is wrong.
  5. After facing a fight with each other just forgive and forget. As humans, we can never avoid misunderstandings, because it is just the effect of our imperfections in life. But with that imperfection comes perfection because it is with that misunderstanding that the couple will know each other more.
  6. Never talk about breakup. If you don't want breakups then why talk about it in the first place. Just talking about the possibilities of a breakup will leave an impression to your partner that you don't love him/her sincerely or you are just giving him/her the reason to quit your relationship.
  7. If you are really sorry, mean it! The word sorry is just so common among men. Before planning on cheating on your partner, why not think again about the consequences you gonna end up facing.
  8. Don't compare your past and present. You should not just compare your past to the present because the setting is completely different. You cannot just compare the picture coming out from a 'black and white television' with a 'digital flat screen television' because they are not of the same level.
  9. Don't talk about your past relationships. Sticking to what have happened in the past will just give you hard time of moving on. You will never notice how your present partner loves you if ever you keep on thinking of your ex.
  10. Give and take process. It is not always that one should be in charge of the other.
  11. Be more sensitive of the feelings of your partner. It is not just enough to ask him/her about his/her feelings because most of the time he/she will hide true feelings. They will not just tell you in the sense that they don't want you to get hurt also.
  12. When you had a fight, don't let the day pass without being fine. The longer you stay in a fight, the more time you need for reconciliation. Let us just remember that the more you let someone dying wait, the less chance of survival and same is true with love.
  13. Don't be the perfect one, be the right one. Are you tired of being somebody else just to please your partner? You never need to do that in the first place. If you are really loved by your partner then he/she should accept you no matter who you are.

  14. Swallow your pride. As I said earlier, relationships will never work unless one of the couple will be humble enough to lower himself/herself down even though he/she knows that he/she is not really the fault of the fight.
  15. Among any other celebration, never forget to remember anniversaries or monthsaries. It is already very common among any other couples to be fighting over because one of them actually forgot to remember their anniversary. It is just perfectly understandable for someone to forget but whenever you try to explain to your partner just get it straight to the point. Just don't tell him/her that you had a stomach problem that's why you were not able to attend, oh come on it's just so highscool.

As I am browsing the net... We dont have enough work loads to do so I decided to read some articles and some stories thru online while waiting to clock out.

I came across this site www.allphilosophy.com where they discuss and debate some interesting and humor topics. and this really caught me...

Being a loner this really explains how we feel an why some people misunderstand us...

--oOo--

Depending on if you choose to stay a loner or not, you will probably have rough waters ahead.

The loner life is tough and unstable. The worst part however is the transition with someone of the opposite sex. There are characteristics that normally make you "great" that now make you miserable. Like loyalty, feathfulness, kindness, and caring. The things that make you strong make you week and you just don't understand. You give and give with no return. Normally that wouldn't be that big of a deal, but the person you are caring for and wanting to be with and help out so much doesn't really notice.

The lack of aknowledgment makes it hard for the relationship to be "2 way". The lack of communication that you are so used to from being a loner now kills you. Your mind starts racing and you start feeling emotions which you aren't used to. You wonder why you feel like this when you know that you're doing Everything possible to make things enjoyable for everyone. It bugs you and makes you go crazy! Then you realize... that there are some things (like relationships) that can't be "one sided" you can't have control of the whole situation like normal. You have to rely on others to do their part (which scares you). You start looking back at your loner life and wishing you would have just stayed that way. But then part of your mind keeps telling you that being lonely sucks compared to a happy relationship. You sit and think for hours on end. you don't accomplish anything and you feel like crap.

People will offer to help you out but you turn them down because you are used to doing everything yourself. But you havn't been stuck like this before.

You aren't used to problems that you just can't solve on your own. You think if theres anyway that you could end things easily and go back to the loner life... but it's too late, you have been affected by another and all you can do now is hope... ...hope that you will show up on the radar. Hope that you can work your way up and be on the other persons mind. You want the chance to be a friend and have fun and joke around. but this person already has really good friends. there's no room for you in that aspect of their life. You think of other ways to be needed. You know that the family will always be there taking up most of the other persons life. You unfortunatly have to face the fact that things like sports will take priority over you also. You realize that no matter what the other person says and no matter what they do, they won't understand fully.

They won't understand that they aren't fully ready for someone like you. They havn't reached your age or your calibre. You are somewhat trapped in a position that brings you great joy and even greater pain. But you fight on because you never give up. You grit your teeth and decide that you're just tired and going crazy. You decide that you need sleep and you need to stop caring so much, just for a little bit. The other person will be too caught up in things to notice that you are fighting with yourself to focus on yourself once again if only for a few hours so you don't go insane. But you can't help but care for the other person and want to be with them all the time. you want to make them happy, you want to feel the comfort of having them by your side.

The comfort that you have been lacking your whole life... The comfort that a loner can never feel (or never feel and want to go back to just being a loner again). You want to make up for all the years that you havn't been able to pamper someone with love and be cared for and pampered in return. You don't want to do anything in fright that you could miss an opportunity with the other person. You anxiously await the times when you have a plan to hang out or even talk. You many times end up waiting for nothing, or for postponement. But it's those few times that you see them that you feed off of. You let everything else slide just to be with the other person while the other person has No idea that anything like this is going on. they don't ever have a second thought about the situation (if they even have a thought). You just decide that you are going to be in pain like this for awhile. but you will patiently wait out of the pain in hopes that the other person will progress or that something might change. you will put yourself in every possible place to open up an opportunity. Your head starts to hurt because you have been thinking and stressing too much and decide to "just relax" and go to sleep before you can talk yourself out of giving yourself a break. For tomorrow is another day! and you can think things through all over again when you wake up.
